KVKK ("Kişisel Verilerin Korunması Kanunu") is the Turkish equivalent of the EU GDPR — Law No. 6698 of April 7, 2016. Under KVKK, businesses processing personal data of individuals in Türkiye must publish a clear notice (Aydınlatma Metni) explaining what data is collected, why, and how the data subject can exercise their rights. This document is that notice for Sakans.

Identity (name, ID number when invoicing); contact (email, phone, address); customer transaction (orders, subscriptions, invoices); financial (bank info — only via payment provider); technical/security (IP, logs, device IDs); marketing preferences. Special categories of personal data (sensitive data) are not processed.
Service delivery, customer relationship management, billing, security, fraud prevention, compliance with legal obligations, and — with consent only — marketing.
Performance of contract; legal obligation; legitimate interest; explicit consent (for marketing).
Authorized employees of Sakans; payment service providers; e-invoice integrators; hosting and infrastructure providers — strictly limited to service delivery. Data is hosted in Türkiye and is not transferred abroad.
You have the right to: (a) learn whether your data is being processed; (b) receive information about it; (c) learn the purpose and whether it is used per the purpose; (d) know the recipients; (e) request correction; (f) request deletion in legally permitted cases; (g) request notification of the above to third parties to whom data was transferred; (h) object to automated processing causing adverse effects; (i) claim compensation for damages from unlawful processing.
Submit a written application as defined in the Communique on Application Procedures, including your full name, Turkish ID number (passport for foreigners), notification address, request details, and supporting documents. Send by post, email or KEP. We respond within 30 days, free of charge.
